Builder Options:

Residential Design Services has a full service option program for our builders. Options Plus® and Designer Plus® software assist salespeople from the moment they sit down with the homebuyer on their initial consultation. These systems completely automate the intensive and time consuming paper process from start to finish by generating accurate flooring, options and window orders. The database is comprised of pricing, suppliers, installer information, allowances, floor plans and other vital data used in generating orders. It quickly generates buyer sales contracts and supplier purchase orders. It automatically produces price catalogs, database listings, and order status/tracking reports. Additionally, option selections can be accessed through our website with Webview®—a hosted service with download links to Options Plus—for convenient at-home pricing or actual ordering.

In addition to the typical options available through a builder design center—counters, floors and window treatments—Residential Design Services has taken the option process to a new level. In 1992, RDS created our Finish Carpentry division providing crown molding, wainscoting, fireplace mantles and ceiling treatments. The team philosophy for building this division became the template for future ventures. As new design services were added, teams of managers and artisans were hired and trained to provide superior expertise. Our firm quickly developed a reputation for accepting—and excelling in—challenging assignments.

A Shower Door and Mirror division was soon added, which recently moved to its own facility a few blocks from our Anaheim location. Keeping our vision of quality paramount with any new venture, our fabrication process includes both polishing and beveling machines—all under one roof for quick turnaround time. Shower enclosures, vanity mirrors, and custom framed La Marche mirrors are all available through this division.

As our growth continued in the early 1990’s and homebuilder option programs expanded, a natural addition to our company was our Cabinet division. We specialize in media centers, built-in desks and custom niches. This division also provides our cutting-edge design centers—either on-site or stand alone locations—with all the fixtures, desks and cabinetry built in-house.

Whether your needs include all of our divisions to eliminate multiple sub-contractors, or just flooring and windows, we can handle it. We feel that we are small enough to provide your homebuyers with personal service not always found in this industry, yet large enough to handle any seasonal closing demands. Servicing Southern California exclusively, we stay in tune with the marketplace and offer the latest in options and design trends.
