- The day immediately following flooring completion, each house is individually quality walked by one of our 6 Service Technicians to ensure all flooring has been installed and completed satisfactorily. If available, the Builders Superintendent is requested to accompany us during this QA Walk. Any repairs that need to be addressed are completed at this time, if applicable. If not, the QA Sheet is returned to our Pre-Walk Department to order any materials required to complete the repairs. Depending on availability of material, the repair will usually be completed the following day.
- Each of our 6 Field Service Technicians is assigned a particular geographic location which allows us to rapidly respond to our Builders request, usually within 24 hours, if not same day.
- In-house, we have our Pre-Walk Coordinator, Christy Burnett, who is available by Phone, Fax or Email to address your Field Staffs flooring needs prior to close of escrow. Upon completion of needed repairs, she will follow up with a phone call to ensure all repairs have been completed satisfactorily.

Your relationship with Residential Design Services does not stop when you move into your new home. While we all strive for zero defects with the products you select—and certainly maintain the best installation crews possible—problems do occur occasionally.
Where we believe we stand out in our field is how quickly we address your concerns and to your satisfaction. It starts with your first phone call to us. Usually you can speak with a live person the first time you call. If you have to leave a message, we endeavor to call you back within one hour.
At RDS our goal is to eliminate potential problems long before your first visit with a designer by the products that we select for you to choose from. We maintain a very high level of criteria for quality and service and therefore we are extremely selective in the suppliers that we do business with. For this reason some products you may have seen at retail stores will not be found at RDS. We don’t look for the least expensive products available—we look for suppliers and manufacturers that we can build relationships with, that stand behind their products and respond quickly to our needs and yours.
We know you have made quite an investment in your new home and with the upgrades that you have purchased from us. Our commitment to your builder continues with our commitment to you.
